Quescrem named Innovative SME

Quescrem has been recognised as an innovative small and medium enterprise (SME) by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO).

The creation of the Innovative SME registry is the result of a European strategy for the development of companies that, because of their innovative nature, can last longer and be more competitive, therefore become a stable source of job creation.

In order to be considered for the Innovative SME registry, Quescrem has shown that it meets the following requirements:

a) It has received a public grant from any the official R&D grants in the last three years, and has not had it repealed due to incorrect or insufficient execution of the financed activity.

b) It has proven its innovative nature, through its own activity and patents, or has obtained a positive binding reasoned report to apply the deduction referred to in article 35 of Law 27/2014, of November 27, on Corporation Tax.

c) It has proven its capacity for innovation by receiving any of the following official certifications recognized by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness granted by a Certification Entity authorized to do so:

1.º Young Innovative Company (JEI), according to section EA0043.
2.º Small or Micro Innovative Company, according to section EA0047.
3.º Certified according to Standard UNE 166.002 “R&D&i management system requirements”.

It is also important to highlight that in a business context that is becoming more globalised and competitive, to be recognised as an innovative company by a public institution can help to open new doors to the national and international market, where Quescrem is currently establishing itself.

With this initiative, Quescrem is reinforced as an innovative company, highlighting that innovation is one of the cornerstones of our company.
