Kefir on toast

Quescrem has launched a unique product that marries one of the oldest-known dairy products, kefir, with all the benefits and many features of cream cheese. In keeping with our commitment to innovation in the dairy industry, we have launched the first ever spreadable kefir in a practical 150 g tub, so you can now enjoy the unique flavour of kefir also on toast, sandwiches and cakes.

Kefir: a trendy drink

Kefir is a fermented milk that originated in the North Caucasus. Its use was first documented in the 7th Century, when it became part of the Slavic culture and its diet.

Recently, kefir has caught the attention of consumers all over the world, and its popularity just keeps growing. In fact, according to IRI’s market research, its sales have increased by 16% in the last three years, which reflects the growing interest of consumers in products made with kefir.

The first kefir cream cheese on the market

With our commitment to innovation and high-quality milk from nearby pastures, Quescrem has been able to develop a new product with kefir culture: a cream cheese with no added preservatives or stabilisers, high in protein and with the unique fresh and lactic touch of kefir.

With only five ingredients, this natural product can be enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack.  Quescrem Kefir can be spread on sandwiches, toast or canapés like any other spreadable cheese, but it can also be used in many other recipes, from sauces and milkshakes to desserts and cakes. However, this kefir cream cheese stands out in cheesecakes, as it adds a delicious and very original touch.

Quescrem Kefir is available in 150 g tubs and can be found in the dairy section of the supermarket.
