New York Cheesecake

1200 g of Quescrem Cream cheese Original Recipe
225 g of whipping cream
315 g of sugar
65 g of corn starch
6 eggs



When you have softened the cheese with a blender or a smoother, add the whipping cream and sugar while beating on medium speed. The ingredients should be beat long enough so that it is well blended and no lumps remain. It is very important that no air is incorporated. Dilute the starch with water and slowly add it into the mixture.


Finally add the eggs one by one giving time to mix correctly. Beat the whole mixture again with a curved hook beater in order to de-air before placing it in a baking dish.


Preheat the oven to 200 ºC and bake at this temperature for 15 minutes. Once this time has passed lower the temperature to 130 ºC and bake for another 60 minutes.

To finish:

Although the original American cheesecake is served alone, we suggest making it more appealing by serving it on a tray decorated with berries such as blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and currants. At the time of serving the slices you can accompany them with some jam, honey, caramel or syrup.
